Volunteer Opportunities in September

For those of you looking to get Letters of Appreciation or the opportunity to participate in service projects with the National Parks here are two great opportunities.
What: National Public Lands Day-Clean up and improve trails in JT National Park
When: September 25 0800-1200
Where: Joshua Tree National Park
Who: Open to service members, dependents and friends.
What: Entrance Ambassadors for Joshua Tree National Park
Check park passes, answer visitor questions and assist staff in processing visitor vehicles. Volunteer at least one weekend day per week between October 2021-January 2022
When: weekends
Where: Joshua Tree National Park
Who: Open to all service members, dependents and friends.
