BOUNDARIES
Whenever we say yes to something, it requires us to also say no to something else. Boundaries help us to maintain balance by creating space or margin in our life. Boundaries also help us enjoy life more fully by setting up safeguards that protect us from others, protects others from us, and guards us against ourselves.

Materials:/Resources needed: Paper/Pen, Notebook paper

THREE CIRCLES EXERCISE
1. Draw 3 concentric circles. Leave space between the circles to write.
2. In the innermost circle write down behaviors, thoughts or people that you know are definitely bad for you. These habits, activities, or interactions set you on a pattern for destruction.
3. In the outermost circle, write activities, behaviors, people that you know are good for you.
4. The middle circle is where you write things you aren't sure about.
5. Develop specific boundaries to keep you from moving into inner circle behaviors.
6. Develop specific proactive plans to engage in outer circle behaviors.
